  • The dog must have “TOPBRASS” as the prefix of it’s AKC registered name.

  • TOPBRASS dogs ARE NOT to be bred with a dog of another breed to produce a “designer breed” . Full registration will be denied and all warranties are void.

  • All pups are sold on LIMITED REGISTRATION. This prohibits any litters produced by the dog to be registered with the AKC however you can still compete with the dog. Registration can be changed after the required health clearances and genetic testing have been completed and submitted to TOPBRASS. Required testing is as follows: full genetic panel from a provider of your choice, OFA hips and elbows; OFA eye clearance from a certified ophthalmologist ; and cardiac clearance from a certified canine cardiologist . *We reserve the right to also require an AKC or UKC title before changing the registration.

Warranty

Warranty is for puppies up to 26 months of age. It covers ONLY hereditary defects for which the parents have been tested; i.e. hips, elbows, eyes, heart and hereditary problems precluding it to be nonfunctional or not breedable. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDED ACCIDENTAL DEATH OR INJURIES.

In the event that the TOPBRASS dog is suspected of having a hereditary defect:

  1. Notify us by telephone, text, letter or email.

  2. Submit questionable reading to the OFA.

  3. Send us a copy of the exam; X-ray, ophthalmologist eye exam or other test result.

  4. If death does occur and hereditary reasons are suspect then an autopsy must be preformed.

If the dog cannot obtain a normal hip, elbow, heart or eye certification or has a hereditary problem precluding it to be nonfunctional or not breedable, then to qualify for a replacement.

The dog must be returned to TOPBRASS within 10 days of identifying the genetic condition and must be in good health. IF the condition warrants the dog to be put down to prevent further suffering, a letter from a certified veterinarian must accompany any reports.
